Incorporated on 14 July 1994 in Biratnagar, Kulayan Battery Industries Pvt. Ltd. has grown from a regional energy supplier into one of Nepal's most established battery manufacturers — holding dual certifications and operating a service-integrated network across all seven provinces.
Our ISO 9001 certified production facility in Khanar-6, Sunsari operates at a capacity of 25,000+ units annually across lead-acid and emerging lithium-ion platforms. Every Kulayan battery is manufactured, tested, and supported through a unified infrastructure engineered for Nepal's specific operating conditions — voltage instability, monsoon humidity, and wide thermal ranges.
The founding directors remain operationally active alongside a team of 150+ engineers, technicians, and field staff.

Kulayan Battery Industries Pvt. Ltd. is incorporated on Asadh 30, 2051 BS. Initial operations focus on lead-acid battery assembly and regional distribution across the Eastern Terai.
